What is the strongest plant in PVZ Fusion?
The Gatling Cherrybomber. It fires four explosive cherries at 300 damage each — 1,200 damage per volley, every 1.5 seconds — with a 3×3 splash on every hit. No other plant you can actually field matches that sustained output, which is why bosses and Gargantuars that stall everything else melt in front of it. The catches are real: 950 sun is steep, and it needs protection while it works.
One honest footnote: a Legendary Odyssey spawn called the Overclocked Cherrybomber hits even harder — but it is a rare spawn, not a plant you can fuse or choose. For any plant you can plan a run around, the Gatling Cherrybomber is the strongest.
Is the Oblivion-shroom stronger than the Gatling Cherrybomber?
No — and it is not trying to be. The Oblivion-shroom deals 300 damage and works as a coordinator: whenever your Cryo plants hit a zombie, it triggers a coordinated cryo explosion in a 1.5-tile radius and applies Chill. Its power scales with how much Cryo you run alongside it. The Cherrybomber wins on raw damage; the Oblivion-shroom wins on control. Endgame lineups carry both because they do different jobs.
What is the strongest plant on a budget?
The Gatling Doom — 650 sun for the same headline numbers: four 300-damage Irradiated Shells every 1.5 seconds. Its shells also grow stronger against zombies carrying status debuffs, so it wears down armored targets and big health pools relentlessly. Pair it with Doomwood (300 sun) and the combo goes further: Doomwood’s Ember effect can multiply Gatling Doom’s mini-Doom projectiles up to ×6 damage with a 7×7 splash.
What is the strongest plant in Odyssey mode?
The Gatling Cherrybomber again — Odyssey is where it stops being fair. Its Odyssey form triples the cherry damage (300 → 900 per projectile) and halves the firing interval. All three S-tier plants are Odyssey plants, so this is also where the Oblivion-shroom and Gatling Doom reach their full strength.
