A repo README once claimed a “4.0.5.2 English Android APK” — we checked the live releases and it was never published. Don’t trust sites offering it; the table above is what’s real.

How to Get the English Version

Android
- Back up
playerData.json— switching builds wipes saves (see warning below). - Uninstall any Chinese build first — English and Chinese builds use different signing keys and can’t install over each other.
- Download v4.0-release-2 from the download page (direct download, hosted on this site).
- Sideload the APK (allow “Install unknown apps”, accept the Play Protect prompt).
- Requires Android 8+ and arm64 — the English build is 613 MB and needs ~1.2 GB free.
PC
- Download the 4.0.5.2 Alpha multi-language ZIP from the download page (direct download, hosted on this site).
- Extract it and follow the PC install steps.
- Note: Gods Evolved content and parts of the almanac remain untranslated in this alpha.
Switching languages wipes your save. English and Chinese builds are signed with different keys, so Android refuses to install one over the other — you must uninstall first, and uninstalling deletes your progress. Copy playerData.json somewhere safe before you switch.

English Version FAQ
No. Blue Fly ships the game in Simplified Chinese only. All English builds are community translations — excellent ones, but unofficial and trailing releases.
Unknown — translation takes time after each Chinese release, and there’s no public ETA. This page updates the moment a verified build appears. Don’t download “English v4.0.5 APKs” from random sites in the meantime; they don’t exist from any verified source.
silvershadowkat maintains the Android translation; Teyliu maintains the multi-language PC translation project (Discord invite on their GitHub page). Both are open on GitHub — you can watch their releases for updates.
Teyliu’s project covers multiple languages on PC. There’s also a build-it-yourself project (svnfrs/pvz-fusion-english, 18 languages) that doesn’t redistribute the game — for translators and tinkerers.
The GitHub releases linked above are the community’s trusted sources — but apply the same rules as any download: get it from the real repo (check the URL), scan the file, and never install a “translation” from a random download site. Full safety breakdown.
