PVZ Fusion Plants and Zombies Roster
Research reviewed October 2026 · Roster matches game version 4.0.5

FUSION PLANTS
Signature fusion plants
Plant one plant on top of another to fuse them. These are the most iconic verified fusions in the game.

Sunshooter
Peashooter + Sunflower
150 sun
Produces 25 sun every 25s and fires 100-damage sun projectiles that each generate +5 sun on hit. Re-fuses into Double Sunshooter, then Gatling Sunshooter — the end of the sun line.

Cherry-bomber
Cherry-shooter + Cherry Bomb
400 sun
Deals 300 damage every 3 seconds — and fusing it triggers a full 3×3 Cherry Bomb explosion. Unlocked by beating Fusion Challenge stage 1.

Doom Pea
Peashooter + Doom-shroom
300 sun (day) · 225 (night)
Damage-scaling peashooter: starts at 40 per 1.5s and gains +1 per attack. Pairs with Frenzy-shroom planted one tile behind — Doom Pea takes its attack speed.

Split Pea
Repeater + Peashooter
Fusion cost unverified
Fires 20×3 damage every 1.5s both forwards AND backwards, with back peas rebounding off the screen edge. Click one for 15s to upgrade it to a Gatling Pea for free.

Gatling Doom
Gatling Pea + Doom-shroom
600 sun (day) · 525 (night)
Fires four doom projectiles (300×4) every 1.5s, occasionally launching a huge explosive doom shot. An Odyssey-mode monster.

Gold Sunflower
Silver Sunflower + Golden Bean
3,000 coins (doubles per copy)
The economy queen: produces 50 sun every 10s, stores up to 10,000 sun internally, and raises the level sun cap to 50,000.

NOTABLE ZOMBIES
The zombies you’ll need them against
PVZ Fusion’s zombies hit far harder than the originals. Know your enemy.

Obsidian Gargantuar
64,000 toughness
Immune to hypnosis, devouring, knockback, chronoshift and shrink. While alive, ALL zombies take 90% reduced damage. Summons an Obsidian Imp per squashed plant. The community’s DPS benchmark.

Undying Wraith
3,000 toughness · Odyssey
A floating Jiangshi that dashes through your lawn for 500 damage — bypassing even Tall-nuts — then explodes on death for 500 damage in 3×3. Can’t be hypnotized.

Dr. Zomboss
45,000 / 225,000 / 450,000 toughness
Squashes almost everything, hurls fire and ice balls, drops bungees and vans. Can even be summoned when an Obsidian Gargantuar dies with the right Odyssey buff.

Abyssal Gargantuar
32,000 toughness · Purgatory
90% damage-reduction aura, spawns Abyssal Imps on every smash, and throws a Mecha-nut ball at half HP that breaks into five more imps.
